Another introduction...

Post by sniperator » Feb 3rd, '13, 20:07

My name is Simon. I live in the Jervis Bay area and have just recently parked a Griffin 17 in the back yard.

I am very excited to get the girl onto Jervis Bay but unfortunately the old girl needs a spruce up, and registration. I am a boating newbie, so I have started the project off by buying some fibreglass boat building books. This is going to take some time.

I will be hanging around the forum regularly. I don’t usually say much, but I doo listen and learn, so I probably won’t make many posts.

Welcome to you. We shall see how long it takes for you to either ask a question or resist making a smart answer to a post.

Enjoy the Griffin restoration and keep us posted of the progress, with pics if possible. 8)

G'day Simon,

Hows the Griffin rebuild going??

I'm fairly close to putting mine back on the water 9next couple of weeks), and has been a good project to play with although it did take longer than planned and I did do more on it than planned.....

Welcome Simon. Lots of very clever people around this forum...asking lots of questions may just assist in getting your new toy on the water quickly...then even more fun to be had!
Cheers,
Sue

For what it's worth, Simon has only posted once and it was nearly 5 years ago.
