Meanings of words are continually changing. The "Keel" of a yacht being a good example.

"Bilge Keels" and "Lee Boards" were considered but eventually not included.

Which Serial (Ser) describes your boat's keel type?

PS. These definitions were described to keep a very specific analysis focused on support requirements for different keel/centreboard types. No claim is attached to their use beyond that application.

PPS. I argued that they were once all "Centreboards." See pic below.
