Well done Colin on your timely update of results - a commendable effort.

After Marlay Point Yacht Race, one more heat for this season's Travellers Series - the MTYC Four Points Race, Saturday 30 April. With fifty boats last year, it will be great to see an even larger fleet of trailable yachts and sports boats on Port Phillip for this end of season event.

It seems that numbers are up across the board pretty much.

A tribute to the clubs running the events, the trailable division of YV and the good work by Ron and Collin that people keep coming back in greater numbers

The Traveller Series results have been updated to include the results from MPONR. TYD website. Congrats to Gary (Never Again) in Division 1 and Mitch (Pipalini) in Division 2 building an insurmountable lead on CBH. Both boats have performed consistently well over the series. There are still a handful of boats fighting it out for a podium finish in the next and final race of the series, Four Points Race. In Division 3 CBH we have two boats on equal points going in to the final race so that will be an interesting race to watch. A special mention also the Len (Laros) moving into first place of Div 3 PBH proving that age is no barrier to improvement. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Four Points Race on April 30.

Many thanks to YV and all the clubs that hosted the events.

I raced Jaffa in all 6 events and was great fun, especially going to new venues such as Port Albert and Warneet and experiencing a weekend away with family and friends who came along.

Congratulations to FizIV the Explorer 16 who pushed us all the way. It came down to the last race (MTYC 4 pts race) which was rather nail biting, FizIV was only 5 minutes behind half way through the race but we managed to blow them away going upwind in 25 knts from Fawkner Beacon to Williamstown. The conditions were rather nasty and anyone that finished that race in a boat 20ft and under should be proud.

Looking forward to next season already and planning what needs to be fixed / improved over winter

Cheers, Brendan (Jaffa)

It's with pleasure that I can announce the events included in Traveller Series 16-17. Popularity in this series has been steadily growing and it would be great to see that continue. The first event is Queenscliff to Geelong Race on Sunday October 30th. The NOR for the series and for the Q2G event is available via the above link.

The Traveller Series Results have been updated following the Vic Champs. I haven't yet updated the PBH Calculations but should be able to do that over the weekend. Next event is the MPONR on March 11th/12th.
