I recognise that Cal!
Is this Mel's only boat at the moment? And did you (Peter) take that photo on the way to Duck Arm?
Yep. In fact Ann took the photo while I was wrestling with the helm in the ferocious conditions.

Timpenny 670 - $9,750 neg. - Smiths Creek NSW
Looks OK and has a nice motor. No pop-top so check headroom. My wife could not sit upright in a Timpenny and she ain't that tall! Nice boats though.

E Boat - $6,900 neg. - Geelong VIC
You would need to be a fan of these. Has a beam of 2.77 metres which is greater than the road width limit. Says it has a tilt mechanism to get it back to legal but the wheel track of the trailer would still seem to be unchanged. Not sure how that would all work but it is a complication. Trailer looks minimal and probably a float-off proposition.

Mal had a blooper for the Farr 7500; he and Barb (and Benny) used it (with no other sails) returning from Storm Point (opposite Loch Sport) to Paynesville after a big blow at Easter a few years back.
