Some of the TS fleet at maggie race week. Thats Mojo's boat in the background. My crew and I slept on our boat for the 5 days. Felt a bit crusty by the end.

Heading for the finish in last place after a long 6 hours circumnavigating Magnetic Island. We were fully reefed main and No.3 and still very overpowered. Needed more crew.

Certainly was rough. Probably only blowing 25+ but because of the shallow water and current off magnetic island waves were standing up a bit.

Tony and Karin, great to some more tsers in mackay. I keep my boat in a compound at seaforth ($270/year). Great ramp up there. Regularly sail to goldsmith and Brampton islands.

Send me a pm one day.

Hi Mat,

We still haven't caught up, due to last year's health drama and my inability to resume sailing. Having moved form a TS to a keeler now, I don;t post much here any more. But I still lurk :-)

Nice to see you have taken on the job of keeping in up the interest in our home cruising grounds.

PM me again some time if you are around Mackay and I'll share some of my collection of Whitsundays pics and videos. Might let you in to a couple of little secrets - as long as they stay secret :-)

Cheers,

RossD

There's not enough room to swing a cat in the Seaway 25 cabin.
Don't ask the cat how I know...
