Mission Beach Now has an upgraded Boat ramp with floating pontoon. It has 2 lanes that at times can be reduced to 1 if everyone dosent do the right thing. It is sheltered from the SE winds by a rock wall. It will be dredged in the near future but in the meantime higher tide launching is recommended as it is quite shallow on low. Bigger boats that dont have a lot of manouverability under power tend to park across the end and walk the boat around the corner to the trailer.
The area inside the pontoon is quite tight especially if it is busy or a westerly is blowing you off the pontoon which isnt very often.

The Co-ordinates for the ramp are,

17.51.221S
146.07.023E

This is the carpark so dont use it from the sea.
