Epirb batteries replacement

Post by granty » Jul 25th, '15, 21:31

My Epirb batteries were due for replacement on my G.M.E. MT400 model.

The manufacturers cost was going to be almost as much as a new one. Any way shopped around on E-bay and found this business in S.A. $98.00 for new batteries post free.

I rang the owner ,very helpful he suggested the best way to post it ,and cheapest was to use an Aust Post plastic envelope bag ,cost to post Vic to S.A. $8.00

So all up $106.00 was a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

You can find this business on E-bay ,pay through PayPal.Thats what I did.

For anyone S.A. local here is their address.

After leaving a few messages on some poor womans machine.... the number is actually:

(08) 8388 0669
Attn: Peter Summers
96 Main Rd
Nairne SA, 5252

Peter is a nice bloke. They will do my McMurdo for $90 incl postage back, so $98 all up. They use Panasonic batteries.

I was about to go to WW and get a GME for $200.
