Sorry Jan Eric, I was never able to contact the builder of Minuet's despite many many emails to him and also via his USA agent who was very helpful.

As to building them in Australia the cost is not feasible due to resin costs.

My Minuet is number 5 of the 10 that were built, and it is the only one in Australia.

The chap that I got mine from is an ex UK sole, so he bought number 5 with him when he emigrated.

This chap had built another one by making a mould from number 5, but had issues getting the plug to release so there is some minor damage to number 5. He has the hull mould for sale, but as per above, resin costs are prohibitive.

So with all that I have mine wrapped up in the shed as it is very precious to me. I don't even let anyone else sail it :-)

You are the chosen one. I hope you enjoy your little toy as much you can, every day counts! I’m very happy with my little trimaran. First launch for me with this is near and I did a renovation because it was in a garden under a spruce for over two years and everything was green of moss, so it took a while to see it was a boat underneath. I made a new rudder and every rope is new. First my thought was to buy a Hobie but I don’t like hanging in trapez (i’m 57) so three hulls is perfect and it’s fast enough (12-15 knots). I hope this summer who has started now will be a good one even if this Corona is hanging over us all.
